Our angel is here!!!

Cambry Lane Patterson arrived January 7th 2011 at 11.58a.m., weighing 6lbs. 10ox. and 20 inches long. He is completely perfect!!! No words can describe the feeling that you get when your son is placed into your arms for the very first time. The whole labor process went by so quickly for me. I was induced at 6:30am, my water broken at 8:00a.m.,pushed for 25-30 Min's. and had him by 11:58a.m.! Chase and I both cried so hard when they placed Cambry on my chest. They whisked him away to weigh him and clean him up, all the while he was screaming. As soon as they placed him in my arms, all his tears dried up and he was calm again. Love at first site is real after all:)

~only six days left!!~

39 weeks pregnant and still no Cambry! We go back to see Dr. Martin on Thursday and he will check my progress. I have tried almost everything to speed the process along, but Cambry is being stubborn.:) Spicy foods,long walks, speed bumps,and all the in between ;)I guess he will make his grand entrance when he is good and ready. Man...this is going to be the longest week EVER!

Ohhhh my back!

Well today has been interesting to say the least! I feel a lot of pressure in my sacrum and feel like I am waddling a whole lot more. When I went to see Dr. Martin last week, he said that Cambry was sitting very low and I am pretty sure that he has moved even lower today! I called the nurse and she said that it could be the beginnings of labor and to just keep an eye on the situation. Well...as soon as Chase gets home we are gonna bundle up and walk the neighborhood to hopefully get this thing started!!!! Keep your fingers crossed that little Cambry will make his grand entrance into this world before his Aunt Kristi and family have to go back to TX. on the 31st!!

One centimeter dilated!!!!!

So...I went to see Dr. Martin for my first exam today and he said that I am one centimeter dilated and Cambry's head is really low! He said that it is just a waiting game now and that he could come any day now!!!:) I can't believe that our little angel will be here soon! The whole pregnancy has flown by so quickly!!
